Victoria welcomed performers from around the world for a colourful showcase of language and culture.
The International Festival of Language and Culture (IFLC) is an annual celebration that showcases the range of linguistic talents and cultural diversity from around the world. IFLC started in 2003 in Turkey with students from 17 countries. In 2015, this event was staged worldwide in 20 countries, with more than 2,000 participants from 145 different countries.
In 2019, Melbourne once again became the meeting point for young performers from dozens of nations. The festival celebrated the universal values of peace, friendship and understanding through music, dance and the spoken word.
The event was co-hosted by Amity College and the Australian Intercultural Society, with the support of community partners and volunteers.
